Community Center Closed for Renovations

Part of the Pompey Park Community Center was closed for asbestos removal and demolition as part of a city improvement initiative.

The building is lined with asbestos fireproofing and the removal is expected to take at least 3-4 months to complete. After it is removed, the building will be remodeled with new space for athletic facilities.
